Kip Marina Customer Notice – P Pontoon Replacement
As part of our infrastructure investment programme, we will be replacing P Pontoon and Walkways beginning on Tuesday 22nd September, weather permitting.
With such a major project there will obviously be some adjustments we will have to make to ensure the safety of our staff and customers and to cause the minimum of disruption.
There will be no access along P Pontoon during the replacement so, if your boat is currently on O, M, N, L, & J Pontoons, and you need to access it on Tuesday 22nd September, we will be operating a ferry system via our workboat to take you from the P Pontoon entrance to your boat.
Once the new pontoon is in place, we will begin the installation of the new electrical and lighting system along the pontoon and walkways. Due to the large size of the pontoon and walkways this will obviously take time to complete, so please be aware that lighting coverage may be temporarily reduced while we do the initial lighting installation.
Access to power points for boats on P Pontoon will follow as soon as possible but priority will be given to the lighting installation.
