Kip Marina and Royal Western Yacht Club are proud to present the 28th Kip Regatta from the 13th-14th May 2017
The long standing partnership between Kip and Royal Western Yacht Club continues under the expert race management skills of RWYC’s Jimmy Cochrane and Johnny Watson who aim to set courses that will provide exhilarating racing for sailors of all abilities.
As in previous years’ Race Classes will again be provided for IRC, CYCA and the usual array of one designs – Sigma 33, Sonata, Etchells etc., while the White Sail fleet will also be well catered for with courses around fixed marks.
New for 2017, organisers are looking to include a dedicated Sports Boats section which will add to the excitement and appeal of this already well supported season opener and attract entries of all sizes and experience.
Shore side The Chartroom Restaurant & Bar will again play host to the Après Sail events with the famous Kip Regatta Party featuring live music and a waterside BBQ on Saturday night and the prestigious prize giving on Sunday afternoon. Café Riva will also be providing its great breakfasts for hungry sailors throughout the weekend!
Special packages are available for hoisting, berthing or storage prior to and after the event.
