Gavin McDonagh Managing Director – 40 Years at Holt Leisure Parks

40 Years ago on the 27^th October 1982 Gavin McDonagh, a fresh faced young man appeared on the scene coming from a Professional Accountants office to become Group Company Accountant at Kip Marina.

Appointed by company founder Derek Holt, Gavin became Company secretary in October 1985 and was invited to be the only non-family Director of Holt Leisure Parks Ltd in May 1989 at Skibo Castle, becoming Managing Director in the 2000’s.

Gavin’s roles with the Holt group expanded to become Director of all the family companies Administrator/Trustee of the pensions etc responsible for the sale and purchase of their businesses and property both foreign and domestic.

Gavin McDonagh commented “It has been an honour to have served Holt Leisure Parks Ltd for 40 years; and hopefully a few more still to come; helping to maintain its position as the home of Scotland’s Premier Marinas”.
