The Scottish branch of the Moody Owners held their successful closing muster at Kip last weekend. The MOA is celebrating its 40th year as an association and since many of these popular and sturdy boats were originally sold and launched at Kip in the 80’s and 90’s, it seemed most appropriate to celebrate by returning to Kip Marina.
Moody owners, a very social and enthusiastic group, enjoyed an active programme starting on Friday evening with drinks on board one of the larger Moody’s – a Kip resident, followed by a walk and visit to the nearby Ardgowan distillery on Saturday which proved very popular as did dinner in the Inverkip Hotel, all easily accessible from the marina and would recommend to all for a great weekend in Inverkip.
