Kip Marina Update

We would like to thank all our berth holders and customers for adhering to the government guidelines during the current pandemic. We appreciate that everyone will be missing using their boats and looking forward to the phased lifting of the current restrictions.

Despite the challenging circumstances, we would like to remind you our checks and security systems remain in place across the Marina 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Kip team are out on the pontoons every day to keep your boats safe, checking lines, fenders, sail covers and generally keeping an eye on everything around the marina.

Please remember, as a Kip Berth Holder, if you would like us to check anything specific on your boat then do not hesitate to ask us – you can email any requests to info@dev.kipmarina.co.uk or call us on 01475 521485

The team at Kip have been doing a great job of essential operational maintenance work around the marina including maintenance of lifting machinery and safety equipment, pressure washing and cleaning specific areas and the movement of boats due to safety and operational requirements. We aim to continue doing this in and a safe and responsible manner as well as continuing to check boats in the water and on the hard standing.

Everybody at Kip is working hard to design and implement new protocols in line with government and HSE advice and combining this with new the guidance from Scottish and UK marine & boating organisations and bodies. We will be updating our Berth Holders on these developments and arrangements directly and will continue to review these daily going forward.

In the meantime, we hope everyone is well, continuing to stay safe, and thank you for your patience and understanding during this unprecedented time.

Kind Regards

Assistant Marina Master

Ian Rodger
