Kip Awarded 5 Gold Anchors
Kip Marina are delighted to announce being awarded 5 Gold Anchors from The Yacht Harbour Association’s world-renowned marina quality assurance scheme.
This prestigious award is recognition of the efforts, time, and investment by the team here at Kip. As we continue to improve Scotland’s premier marina, famous for its customer service and unique location which gives easy access to some of the world’s finest sailing waters.
Kip Marina & Holt Leisure Managing Director Gavin McDonagh said, “We are proud to welcome the award of 5 Gold Anchors which is a great achievement for Ian, Dan, Steven, and all the staff at Kip, and I am quite sure that you join with me in congratulating them for all their hard work.
We have always enjoyed a close working relationship with TYHA who work tirelessly for the industry. The Scheme Assessor was very positive on what the staff here had already achieved, praising them for their enthusiasm and keenness to improve, and providing valuable feedback on future improvements.
All of our staff take advantage of British Marine’s training programs; currently we have staff from all our Marinas participating in the Marina Operative, Intermediate Marina Master, Advanced Marina Master, and Certified Marina Master programs. This ensures that our staff are professionally trained and kept up to date with modern marina practices enabling them to provide the best service they can to our customers”.
